Phusion Projects Office Design
After 15 years, Phusion Projects had outgrown their current office space and were looking for a branded interior that told their story. With brands like Four Loko, Mamitas, and Basic they had a lot of story to tell!
-
Phusion Projects hero product is Four Loko, an alcoholic beverage known for being cheap, strong, and a creator of crazy nights. Four Loko’s branding revolves around “What’s your Four Loko story?” because everyone has that one night that they can’t remember enjoying the beverage.
For their office, I wanted to stay true to the crazy party aesthetic of Four Loko while still creating an atmosphere where business could be conducted without distraction. By using only black particle board, white paint, and silver & leather accents I was able to keep the office calm and focused while still feeling the influences of their edgy brands.
The space will continue to evolve and breathe as the team grows, milestones are met, and guests are welcomed into the office. Management can reward their team members by allowing them to write their story anywhere on the black particle boards through out the space. Guests as they arrive will be welcomed to leave their mark with wheat paste and paint pens.
This will create a dynamic graffiti aesthetic throughout the office and as time goes will speak volumes to the companies values.
To kickoff the process I commissioned local artist Sergio Farfan to leave a static graffiti painting on the largest wall in the main working space. This not only sets the vibe for future additions across the space but most importantly creates a calm visual anchor to make sure none of the custom additions distract from productivity.
